Terms of service

Ramrod Field Management and Tallymark · for businesses using the software · last updated 14 October 2026

The short version. The software is free during the beta. Your records are yours. Use it lawfully — especially when you text and call your customers. It is provided as it is, and the AI features can be wrong, so you stay in charge of what they do.

These terms are between ARES LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company (“ARES”, “we”), and the business that signs up for or uses Ramrod Field Management or Tallymark (“you”). Homeowners and other customers of a business using Ramrod are covered by our privacy policy and text message terms, not by these terms.

1. The service

Ramrod is field service software: work orders, dispatch, scheduling, warranty claims, customer messaging, an AI phone and office assistant, and Customer Candor. Tallymark is its companion payroll and employee time card application. Both are in beta: features change. Access is by self-serve signup or on request.

2. Price

New businesses on the hosted app get a 60-day free trial with no card at signup. After the trial, Ramrod is a flat monthly subscription per business, with the price shown before you subscribe; founding shops receive 50% off for their first 12 months. If you self-host, you pay your own server costs. Nothing is charged without your agreement, and price changes are announced in advance.

3. Your data

The records you put into Ramrod or Tallymark — customers, jobs, employees, time and pay — belong to you. We hold and process them to run the service for you, and for no other purpose. We do not sell them. You can ask for an export at any time, and when you leave we will delete what we are not required by law to keep.

4. Your responsibilities

5. AI features

The phone assistant and AI office draft answers and actions from your records under limits you set, and hand off to a person below your confidence threshold. They can still be wrong. Review what they do, and do not rely on them for emergencies.

6. Other services

Some features use other providers — for example the messaging and voice carrier, the payment processor, and manufacturer or warranty portals. Your use of those is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their outages or decisions.

7. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ARES is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost claims, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Ending

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for misuse or to protect other users, and otherwise will give reasonable notice and a chance to export your records.

10. Changes and law

If these terms change, we update the date at the top of this page and tell active users of material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
